We will continue to provide residents with the high-quality services that they deserve for their tax dollar, while at the same time, maintaining a stable tax rate to keep Aberdeen an affordable place to live. We will continue streamlining local government operations, cutting costs during budget negotiations, and sharing services with surrounding municipalities to save tax dollars. We will re-develop abandoned and contaminated properties to expand Aberdeen's ratable tax base, but always fight to preserve Aberdeen's woodlands, as well as our recreational and open spaces.
